Condonation on Real Property Tax Penalties takes effect in Tarlac

By Jude Feliciano

Condonation on Real Property Tax Penalties takes effect in Tarlac

Good news to owners of land and building! This is to inform you that there is an on-going condonation program in the Province of Tarlac regarding your real property tax penalties.

In this program, the owners are pardon from paying the tax penalties, interest and surcharges on their real property.

This will cover all municipalities within province of Tarlac except Tarlac City. The program is already effective since March 2017 and will last until Sept. 30, 2017.

It usually takes ten (10) years before another condonation be approved. So if you want to take advantage of this zero (0) penalty, it is best to pay your real property tax before Sept. 30, 2017.

To know how much you need to pay

You can request for your statement of account (SOA) in the municipal treasurer’s office. Just show them your last payment receipt for their reference. This is also the place where you will pay your real property tax.

If you don’t have a copy of your receipt

Just bring your land title to the assessor’s office to request for your ARP number.

I hope that this article helps you, your family and your friends avoid paying tax penalties.
